FRAZIER, Mary A. (Ryan)of Braintree, formerly of Hough’s Neck and Kingston, MA. passed away May 7th 2018 at the age of 93. Wife of the late Robert E. “Bob ”Frazier. Loving mother of Mary E. Martin and her husband Harvey of Milford, Robert E. Frazier Jr of Braintree, Carol A. Kippenhan of Braintree, Joanne M. Hinnendael and her husband Jay of Warner, NH, Kathleen T. McCleary and her husband Dennis of Abington, Retired Braintree Chief of Police Paul H. Frazier of Braintree and his former wife Susan Purpura, Patricia L. Rich and her husband Charlie of Hanson, Susan F. Wakelin and her husband Steve of Abington, James W. Frazier of Middleboro and Eileen M. Dudenhoeffer and her husband Andy of Vienna, VA. She was also the mother in law of the late George Kippenhan. Dear "Nanny" of Debbie and Steven, Amy, George, PJ and Bobby, Sarah and Emily, Denny, Mikey and Katy, Jenny and Katie, Chris, Allison and Joe , Emily, Steve and Bridget, Nick and Molly, Kelly, John, and Max. Great Grandmother of Ryan and Matthew, Ryan, Patrick and Molly, Mary and Scotty, Henry, Chloe, Owen and Andrew, Graham and Ira , Anna, Nico and Elena, Caroline, Evangeline and Catherine, Maya and Luke and Nolan. Mary was the daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth "Burke" Ryan and the devoted, younger sister of her late brothers Daniel, Lawrence and Eddie Ryan. She was born in her family home at 44 Littlefield Street located in "God's Country" otherwise known as Hough’s Neck. She was proud to be an "Original Necker" and the daughter of Irish Immigrants. She was a graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 1942 and studied to become a nurse's aide. She was a retired bookkeeper for US TRUST in Braintree and former member of the Lady's Sodality at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Braintree. Mary said she will be going to heaven via a flyover of Ireland. In addition to her family, Mary will miss her friend Myrtle, playing Jeopardy on Alexa each morning, singing songs on her patio while she enjoyed her flower garden, and the "homemade chicken soup made by her friend Diane." Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington Street, Braintree until 9:45 AM on Friday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 3:00 – 7:00PM. Burial in Braintree Cemetery.
