THOMAS, Emoline (Clark), of So. Attleboro, passed away peacefully, with her daughter by her side on March 23, 2018, at the age of 97. Beloved wife of Henry R. Thomas. Loving mother of Myrtle Thomas of So. Attleboro, William “John” Hardware of Jamaica, Clara Williams (d), Joseph Thomas (d) and Ernel Thomas (d). Survived by one Sister. Dearest grand-mother of nine, great grand-mother of ten and many nieces and nephews. Born in Cuba, Emoline grew up in Jamaica, emigrated to England, and subsequently emigrated to the U.S, where she lived until her passing. She was a longtime member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Brockton, MA. Her greatest joy was taking care of her family and spending time with dear friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period on Saturday, April 7th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM in the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 24 Pleasant St, Brockton; immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM in the Church. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, 565 Mount Hope Street, No. Attleboro, MA. 02761. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Emergency Food Pantry.
