MANCUSO, Dorothy M. “Dot” (Matthews), of Middleboro, formerly of Holbrook, passed away peacefully, after a wonderful life, on March 21, 2018, at the age of 92. Born and raised in So. Boston where she met her husband of 70 years Anthony “Mickey” Mancuso. They lived in Holbrook for over 50 years where they raised their children and Dottie worked in the cafeteria of St. Joseph School. After moving to Oak Point Middleborough she enjoyed the friendship of her Lantern Lane neighbors and her knitting club. Most recently, she resided at All American Assisted Living in Hanson where she was a valued member of the community. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, Dot will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Sister of the late Irene Doherty, Helen Ring and George Matthews. Loving mother of Paul and his wife Larri of Brockton and Thomas Mancuso and wife Jeanne of Randolph. Devoted “Nana” to Nicholas Mancuso and Katie Donohoe, Lucas Mancuso, Shannon and Brian Cournoyer, Michelle and Mark Young, Jeanne and Seth Novoselsky. Dear aunt of Patricia Joy, Kathy Dearborn, Carol Maher and Barbara Kinsherf. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin St. (RT 37), Holbrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon in the Funeral Home. Burial in Union Cemetery, Holbrook. Should friend’s desire, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452.
