BOHAN, John F. “Bo”, of Braintree, passed away on November 25, 2017, after a brief illness, at the age of 60. Born in Boston, Bo graduated from Quincy High School. John was a Cold War Veteran for the U.S. Marine Corp. He then attended Wentworth Institute where he earned his Associate’s Degree. Bo has worked in the construction industry for many years and most recently retired as a project manager. He was an active member of the Fore River Shipbuilders Association. Of all his passion’s, spending time with his grandchildren was his pride and joy. John was the husband of Kate (Dowd) Bohan. Loving father of Kellyanne Swett and her husband Peter of Weymouth, Richard Seibert and his wife Kimberly of Braintree, Paul Seibert and his wife Brittanie of FL, John Bohan, Jr. and his wife Andrea of E. Bridgewater and Michael Seibert and his wife Jennifer of MD. Devoted brother of Patrick Bohan and his wife Denise of Dorchester, Michael Bohan and his wife Donna of So. Boston and Joseph Bohan and his wife Dianne of Holbrook. “Papa Bo” to Peter, Michael, Kaitlyn, Colleen, Joseph, Declan, Ainsley, Claire and Colin. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and his great friend Oz. Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree, until 8:30 AM on Thursday, November 30th, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM in Sacred Heart Church, 72 Washington St., Weymouth. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday, November 29th from 4:00-8:00 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Kidney Transplant Program at the Massachusetts General Hospital, 55 Fruit St., Boston, MA 02114. The Bohan family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to the healthcare team of White 8 and Blake 12 ICU at the Massachusetts General Hospital, for their extraordinary care for John during his stay there.
