Walsh, John A. “Johnny” of Randolph formerly of Jamaica Plain passed away unexpectedly September 15th at the age of 83. Beloved son of the late Edward F. and Kathleen (Fitzpatrick) Walsh. Brother inlaw of Mary Walsh of Jamaica Plain. Brother of the late Edward Walsh and Eleanor Knox. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. John was born in Boston grew up in Jamaica Plain. He was a graduate of Boston Technical High School. He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict after his military service he worked as a visual merchandiser for R.H. Stearns, Remick’s of Quincy and Longs Jewelers . Johnny was a talented artist who was best known for his creativity, sense of humor and perpetual happiness . He had an appreciation for good friends and a good beer. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home 419 N. Main St. (rt.28 ) Randolph. Relatives and friend are respectfully invited to attend memorial visiting hours Tuesday sept.19th from 5-8pm. Graveside services will take place on Wednesday at 10 am in New Calvary Cemetery Roslindale.
