RUFFINI, Roberto M. “Bob” of Braintree formerly of the North End of Boston and Italy, passed away unexpectedly April 5, 2017 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Susan S. (Cohen) Ruffini. Loving father of Zachary S. Ruffini of Holbrook, Cindy B. Webster and her husband Allan of Braintree, Rachel J. Tabbi and her husband Jamie of Braintree and Roberto Ruffini of Dedham. Ruffini, Lucca R. Ruffini, Jamie T. Tabbi, and Adam Ruffini. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. “Bob” was born in and grew up in Italy and came to the US at the age of 19. When he arrived he had nothing and turned nothing into the American Dream. He was a carpenter and mason by trade and was a member of the Bricklayers Union Local, Boston. He also owned and operated a Pizza Parlor for many years. He had a strong work ethic and would do whatever it took to provide for his family. He loved to fish, gardening and reminiscing. His greatest joy came from spending time with family and friends especially the grandchildren. He was a positive role model to his family and will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew him. Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree MA 02184 until 9:00 AM Tuesday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Clare Church, 1244 Liberty St., Braintree MA 02184.
