CORRIGAN, Arthur H. “Artie”, a lifelong resident of Holbrook passed away unexpectedly March 29,2017 at the age of 64. Beloved son of the late Edmund E. and Eleanor F. (Nixon) Corrigan. Loving father of Matthew Corrigan of Brockton.Dear grandfather of Reggie. Artie was born in Boston grew up in Holbrook and graduated from Holbrook High School Class of 1970. He served in the US Army as an MP during the Vietnam War. He went to work as a Sheet metal worker and was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #17. After his retirement, he worked part time at the Union Street Pub and Mario’s Union Street Sunoco Station both in Holbrook. He was also enthusiastic Boston Celtics Fan. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew him. He is the devoted brother of Erin J. Yunits of Holbrook, Donna M. Corrigan of Holbrook, Margaret E. “Peggy” McCaffrey of Holbrook, Daniel F. Corrigan of Clearwater, FL, Nancy A. Taylor of Northport, FL, Marianne Mullin of Bridgewater, William Corrigan of Boston, and the late Michael P. Corrigan. Also, survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 68 So. Franklin St., Holbrook MA 02343 until 9:30 AM Monday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph Church, Holbrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial will take place in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph MA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-851.
