MOORES, Thomas B. “T”, of Holbrook, passed away suddenly on March 18, 2017 at the age of 86. Born and raised in Boston, Tom graduated from Boston English High School. During the Korean Conflict, Tom proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Prior to his retirement, he had worked as a clerk at Boston Financial, Co. He was an active member of the Holbrook community where he coached youth hockey and served on the board and was active with the Boy Scouts, Troop 56. Tom enjoyed Irish music and dancing, however, spending time with his grandchildren is what brought him the most joy. Tom was the best friend and beloved husband for over 65 years of Marilyn (Lyman) Moores. Loving father of Thomas J. Moores and his wife Meg of Temple, GA, Teresa Udden and her husband Richard of Marshfield, Lynne Moules and her husband Alan of Whitman, Bob Moores and his wife Dianne of Plainville and Maryann Sullivan and her late husband Kevin of Braintree. Preceded in death by his 5 siblings and survived by his sister , Sr. Helen Moores of NJ. Dear “Grandpa” of Christina, Jeremy, Michelle, Michael, Courtney, Timothy, Alec, Jasmine and Arianna. Also survived by 6 great grandchildren. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 68 So. Franklin St. (Rt 37) Holbrook until 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 Noon in St. Joseph Church, Holbrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday, March 21, 2017, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
