SANTAGATE, Mary E. (Letsche). of Middleboro, March 11th, in her 92nd year. Mary was a 66 year resident of Randolph before moving to Middleboro, and was the devoted wife of the late Joseph F. Santagate. Mary is survived by her daughter Anne-Marie and her husband Joseph Gallant of Middleboro and her son John of Wareham, her sister Patricia Manganelli of Norfolk, her brothers John of Avon and Robert of Scituate, and predeceased by her brothers Frederick, Karl and Paul and brother-in-law Vincent Manganelli. Also survived by her sisters-in-law Joanna, Elizabeth, Marilyn and Rozalyn Letsche. Mary was the “very much loved”grandmother of Barbara Cory, Joseph Gallant (MFD), Maryanne Hughes, Jennifer and Jody Santagate, Michael Gallant and Nicole Meehan; great grandmother 10 and aunt of many nieces and nephews. Prior to moving to Middleboro, Mary was a daily communicant at St.Bernadette Church, Randolph and ministered over the years as a CCD Teacher, Lector and Eucharistic Minister,. She was an active participant in the Charismatic Renewal for many years. Her devotion to our Lord and His Blessed Mother sustained and nourished her throughout her life, Mary was creative and artistic; elaborately decorating cakes for every conceivable occasion, and teaching ceramic classed from her home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Thursday March 16th from 4:00 – 8:00PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main Street, (Rte. 28) Randolph. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday March 17th at 10:00AM in St. Bernadette Church, 1027 No. Main Street, Randolph.
