ABOUZEID, Antoine “Tony” Georges, of Holbrook, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on February 28, 2017, at the age of 78. Born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, Tony immigrated to America and began a long and successful career as a small business owner, owning Holbrook Upholstery in Holbrook Center and Custom Interiors in Randolph for almost 40 years. Tony loved the upholstery business and enjoyed spending time with his clients, speaking to them about his love for his craft. Above all, Tony loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a loving father who brought his children up in the Maronite Catholic faith and instilled in them a high degree of integrity and an intense love for the Lord. In addition to his strong faith, Tony shared his passion for customer service and treated all his clients like family, frequently providing them with coffee and sweets while they selected their fabrics. He is survived by his beloved wife, Margo (Bitar) Abouzeid. Loving father of Grace Mary Abouzeid of Holbrook, Elie Antoine Abouzeid, Esq of Duxbury and Margo Odette Abouzeid of Braintree. Devoted brother of Edouard Abouzeid of Norton, Abdo Abouzeid of Plum Island and Jean Abouzeid of Daroun, Lebanon. Dear “Jedo”/”Baba” of Bahige, Marcia, Tatyana, Alex, Odette, Emile and Odile and great grandfather of Sophie. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 68 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37) Holbrook until 10:00 AM on Friday, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Theresa Maronite Church, 343 No. Main St., Brockton, MA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. Burial in the Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury.
