Sympathy Messages for NICHOLAIDES

Back to Obituary

Jonathan Belk (jon_belk@hotmail.com):
I am so sorry to learn that Mrs. Nicholaides passed away. She was a fantastic teacher of English & Humanities and more importantly, was a wonderful conversationalist and friend to young kids. She could read the class and adjust her lessons to what we had going on in our lives, taught us about being adults, and laughed with us. Mrs. Nich had a great spirit and will be dearly missed.

Regards,
Jon Belk

I was so sorry to hear of this great loss. Ms. Maloney, as I remember her (I am class of 77), was a sweet, and kind, lady. Some may be surprised to know she was a former Patriots cheerleader. She was a cool lady. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her family and friends. God bless!

Rosemary & Jim O'Reilly (nucesfera@aol.com):

Joan will always be remembered by her friends and colleagues here at Oliver Ames High School. She was warm, friendly, and welcoming to me in my first years of teaching at Oliver Ames, and I will always remember her kindness. My deepest condolences to her family.
