I am so very sorry for your loss. I really wish I could have gotten home. I could not have asked for a better Godfather and uncle. I have so many great memories of his epic ping pong games with my parents. Sending my love to Aunt Mary and my cousins. God Bless.

A mentor, a teacher, a leader. Learned so much from this man . I truly looked up to him my entire life . Know him as a neighbor and friend and I will surely miss him . When I returned from Navy boot camp in 1975 I went to The Murphy house in Randolph and in speaking with Hank I called him sir. The expression on his face was priceless to hear how I had changed. Well once again , I will miss your influence but the memories will never be erased . I salute you sir. One Navy man to another . Rest in peace Hank . You did great !

To Mrs Mary Murphy, Steve, Brian, Kevin , Patricia and Maureen. I'm sorry I can't be with you but I want you all to know how much I loved your dad and I am a better person for having known him . I'm saddened by the loss of your dad. When I heard I instictly didn't cry because I thought of all the great times I was blessed to share with your family as a friend and neighbor and so many great lessons about life . In Hanks obituary you mentioned the July 4th and New Year's Eve party's threw out the years and instantly couldn't stop smiling as well as the wiffle ball games in your back yard . Best times of my life as a kid growing up and as a young adult . Learned so much about life from him I can't even begin . I will miss him greatly.

My memories of Uncle “Buddy” when I was young always begin & end with his smile. The family parties & ping pong tournaments & watching home movies were a highlight of our trips up to Boston. So very sorry not to be with you all this week! George & I are keeping Aunt Mary & all the family in our prayers. We keep Hank in our hearts.
