CUNNINGHAM, of Dorchester, December 29th, Edith C. "Edie" (Egelston) Cunningham. Wife of the late William Cunningham. Loving mother of Carol Ann Eaton of Holbrook and George Edward Bradford of Maryland. Sister of the late Joseph Egelston, Bruz Egelston and Marion Phipps. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin St. (RT. 37) Holbrook, until 8:15am on Tuesday followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00am in St. Joseph Church, Holbrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. At the request of the family visiting hours have been omitted. Burial will be private. Edith C. Cunningham was born in Cambridge and died at the St. Joseph Nursing Care Center in Dorchester on Friday, December 29th at the age of 88. Edie worked as a laborer at the United Car Faster Company in Boston for many years. She has resided in Dorchester for the past 37 years.

DAVERSA, of Brockton, Dec. 24th, Donna (Pickard)Daversa, wife of the late Anthony P. Daversa. Loving mother of Peter Daversa of Cape Cod, Patricia A. Campbell of Cotuit and Donna J. Beltramini of Holbrook. Sister of the late Kenneth Pickard. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Born in Plaistow, NH, She died on Dec. 24th at he age of 87 at Copley Nursing Home in Stoughton. She was a Floral Designer for Holmes McDuffy Florist for 26 years. She graduated from Haverhill High School. She has been a resident of Brockton for the past 66 years.

He was retired from the Maintenance Dept. of Johnson and Johnson Medical Supply. He had also worked for Ortho for 5 years and previously worked for Chase and Sons of Randolph for 20 years. He had also served as President of Local 562. He grew up in Boston and graduated from Hyde Park High School. Randolph resident for the past 47 years. WWII Army veteran who served as a PFC with the 307th Technical School Squadron.

Devoted sister of Mary Sparrow of So.Boston, William Pohl of Raynham, George Pohl of Randolph, Robert Pohl of Norton and the late Marjorie Michaels, Edward Pohl and Joan Pohl. Boston High School Class of '47. Resident of Randolph for the past 44 years.

GODFREY of Brockton formerly of E. Wareham and Milton after a long illness Dec. 24. Ralph A. Godfrey beloved husband of Dorothy (Southall) Godfrey. Loving father of Rae Berry of Avon and the late Ralph A. Godfrey Jr. Dear grandfather of Donna Fee of Quincy, Keith Berry of Brockton, Diane Berry of Avon. Ralph was the last of 10 brothers and sisters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rte.28) Randolph. Mr. Godfrey died at the age of 84 in the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center Brockton. He was born in Boston, has lived in Brockton for the past 2 years and prior to that he had made his home in E. Wareham. He was retired pressman for the Boston Herald. He had worked there for 49 years. He was a WW II US Army Veteran. Mr. Godfrey was a Bronze Star and Purple Heart Recipient. Ralph and his wife Dorothy had been married for 61 years.

HOWARD of Randolph formerly of Hyde Park Dec. 26, Cora (Hinckley) Howard beloved wife of the late Clifford Howard. Loving mother of Patricia E. Derrah and her husband James of Randolph. Devoted sister of Dorothy Wauhob of Holbrook the late Raymond Hinckley and Thelma Parquette. Dear grandmother of Richard "Ricky" Derrah and his wife Hiromi of Randolph and Patrick Derrah of Randolph. She was born in Malden and grew up in Roxbury. Prior to moving to Randolph about 5 years ago she had made her home in Hyde Park. She was a former operator for New England Telephone Co., many years ago. She supported many charitable organizations through her love of Bingo.

Resident of Randolph for the past 30 years.

He was Chief Electrician at Carney Hospital Dorchester for 17 years. Previously he had worked for the A&P on Atlantic Avenue in Boston. Resident of Randolph since 1964 before that he lived in Roxbury. He was a WWII Navy veteran and served as an Electrician's Mate Third Class from 1942 1950.

STEWART, of Holbrook formerly of Jamaica Plain and Dorchester after a lengthy illness Dec. 16, George Everett Stewart beloved husband of the late Harriet (Pauls) Stewart. Loving father of Gary E. Stewart of Millville, Robert G. Stewart of Tewksbury, Paula G. Stewart of Holbrook, William A. Stewart of W. Roxbury, James P. Stewart of Holbrook and Sally A. Duggan of Hanover. Mr. Stewart was a WWII US Army Veteran and a member of Amvets Post #51 Randolph. George has lived in Holbrook for the past 41 years.

She was a girl scout leader in Holbrook for many years and was a Marian Medal Coordinator. She was member of the Sedality at St. Joseph Church, Holbrook. She has lived in Dorchester and previously she had lived in Holbrook and Braintree.

Mr. Schutt died at the age of 75 in the Sachem Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, East Bridgewater. Mr. Schutt had lived in Holbrook for most of his life. He was a retired machinist for Union Gear of Quincy where he had worked for more than 20 years. He was also a former employee of Blue Hill Regional School, Canton. Charlie was a WWII and Korean Conflict US Navy Veteran and a member of the Randolph Lodge of Elks. He was also very active in the "Meals on Wheels" Program in Holbrook.

VALERIO, of Hanover, formerly of East Boston, Dec. 11th, Mary (Panetta) Valerio. Wife of the late Peter Valerio. Loving mother of Michael Valerio of Framingham, Mary Clarke of Hanover, Luigi Valerio of Braintree and the late Gino Valerio and Diana Ferraro. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was retired and was formerly an owner of Papa Gino's Restaurant on Blue Hill Avenue for many years. She also had owned a grocery store on Willard St. in Quincy for many years. Resident of Hanover for the past 20 years and previously lived in the East Boston, section of Boston.

Devoted brother Mary Cady of Jamaica Plain, Edward Concannon of AZ, Veronica Croteau of Randolph and Audrey Seward of Plymouth., Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She grew up in Holbrook and graduated from Holbrook High School Class of 1938. Resident of Brockton for the past five years and previously lived in Holbrook. Former member of Holbrook Golden Ages and Life Long member of Brookville Baptist Church, Holbrook .

He was the proprietor of Woodlawn Gulf & Service Station in Randolph for 10 years , he then went to work for Hawkins Brothers Dodge and Gallo Chrysler in Brockton, After his retirement he worked part time at Lakeside Hardware in Mashpee.

Father of John, James and William DeMarco all of Randolph and the late Robert DeMarco. Step Father of Peter Dittrich of Holbrook, Scott Dittrich of Weymouth and Nicole O’Hara of Holbrook and his companions children Christine Brennan of Holbrook, Donald Charlebois of Marshfield and Robert Charlebois of Holbrook. Also survived by 11 Grandchildren. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home 69 So. Franklin St.,(Rte 37), Holbrook until 8:15am on Wednesday. Followed by a Funeral Mass at 9am in St. Joseph's Church Holbrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Burial will be private.
