FACEY, of Holbrook, August 29th, Marguerite L. (Lane) Facey. Wife of the late William B. Facey. Loving mother of William B. Facey Jr. of Waldorf, MD and Paul L. Facey of Cortland, NY. Dear grandmother of William B. Facey, III of MD, Christine M. Goerlich and Kimberly Morton both of NY. Also survived by her great grandson Robert C. Goerlich. Born in Lynn, MA Marguerite died at Queen Ann Nursing Home, Hingham on Aug. 29th at the age of 81 She was a retired registered nurse and worked for the Holbrook School Dept from 1957 to 1978. She retired in 1978. She was the School Nurse at the High School. She was with the Visiting Nurse Assoc. of Holbrook until it went regional. She grew up in Lynn, graduated Lynn Hospital School of Nursing in 1940. She has lived in Holbrook since 1953. WWII US Army Nurse 2nd Lt., Veteran.

FERN, of Brockton, formerly of Avon and Randolph, August 22nd, Paula M. Daughter of the late Edward J. and Mildred (Schouller) Fern. Devoted sister of Edward Fern of Keizer OR, Mary Ellen Scott of Cape Cod and the late Phyllis A. Tapp. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born in North Adams MA and died at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical on Aug. 22nd. She was 60 years old. She was a retired underwriter for John Hancock Life Insurance. She worked there for 38 years from 1958 to 1996. A resident of Brockton, she had previously lived in Avon and Randolph and was a graduate of Randolph High School.

Sares Jr. and his wife Dawna of Randolph. Devoted sister of Concetta Conte-DiPietroantonio of Cambridge, Antoinette Conte of Italy, Josephine Terranova of So.Boston and Domenic Conte of Randolph. Dear grandmother of Holly M. Antonelli, John J. Sares Jr., Jessica L. Sares and James R. Sares. Also survived by her great granddaughter Ivy E. Antonelli. She was a special machine operator stitcher for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union for more than 20 years. She grew up in Cambridge and attended Cambridge Schools. She has been a Randolph resident for 35 years.

Lawrence of Brockton, Kathleen A. Burns of Cambridge, Mary T. Jenkins of Randolph, Joanne E. Christie of Pembroke, William D. Lawrence of Randolph, Martha L. Hinckley of Bridgewater and the late Michael A. Lawrence. Also survived by 22 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was born in Boston and graduated Brookline H.S. Katherine was a homemaker . She lived in Randolph for 40 years.

GALTERE, of W. Roxbury, August 15th, Elvera J. Galtere. Loving daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Ortolano) Galtere. Devoted sister of the late Carmela Mendolia of Randolph and the late Lillian Amendolia. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Galtere was born in Boston and died at the Hollywell Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Randolph on August 15th at the age of 81. She worked as a salesperson/stock person for Filenes Basement for 25 years.

Devoted grandfather of Donna Schwartz, Raina Alves, Kristen Abbot, and Cheryl Hevey. Mr. Crandlemere died at the age of 77 in the New England Sinai Hospital, Stoughton. He was born in Dedham and has lived in Holbrook for the past 71 years. He was a retired fire fighter for the Town of Holbrook. He retired in 1970 after 20 years of service. After his retirement he was a bus driver for Hudson Bus Co. Robert was a member of the town's special police force for 30 years. He was a member of the Norfolk Union Lodge of Mason and the Order of the Eastern Star, Braintree. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Fire Fighters Union. Life member of the Holbrook Sportsman Club. Member of the William B. Dalton Post 137 American Legion, Holbrook. He was a past Post Commander, Past County Commander, Past State Vice Commander and Past State Commander of the 40 and 8. He was a WW II US Navy Veteran.

MacDONALD, of Randolph, formerly of W. Roxbury, August 15th, Donna M. (Harrington) MacDonald. Loving mother of Richelle D. MacDonald of Walpole and Richard D. Mac Donald Jr. of Randolph. Beloved daughter of Geraldine (Ryder) Harrington of Stoneham and the late Paul J. Harrington. Devoted sister of Kathleen Sullivan of Stoneham, Paula Cook of Reading, Mary Cain of Wilmington and Patrick Harrington of AZ. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Donna was born in Boston and died at Faulkner Hospital on August 15th at the age of 51. She was a former employee of F. M. Global of Walpole a resident of Randolph for the past 11 years and previously lived in W. Roxbury.

PARKER, of Raynham, formerly of Randolph, Brockton and Taunton, after a period of failing health, August 14th, Walter Parker. Beloved son of the late Charles H. and Agnes D. (Caldwell) Parker. Devoted brother of Frances V. Grant of Lakeville, Betty Wright of W. Bridgewater, Dorothy Bourne of Bourne, Pauline MacCollom of ME, the late Caroline Parker, Helen Brown, Hazel Murray, June Mitchell and Beverly Gutterson. Brother-in-law of Richard Gutterson of Raynham. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main Street, Rte 28, Randolph. Burial in Central Cemetery, Randolph. Walter was born in Quincy and died at his home in Raynham Aug. 14th after a period of failing health at the age of 87. He was a carpenter and foreman for Perini Construction for over 30 years. He worked on many projects such as bridge building and the Mass Turnpike as well as the construction of the Sumner and Callahan Tunnels. Prior to the construction he served for 6 years in the US Army enduring many battles throughout Europe during WWII. He has lived in Raynham since 1997 and previously lived in Randolph, Brockton and Taunton.

Bethune of FL, Robert E. Bethune of Holbrook, Richard J. Bethune of Brockton, Donna M. Crosby of Holbrook, Henry K. Bethune of Winthrop, Ruth E. Assetta of Holbrook, Henry K. Keough of Holbrook, Wesley A. Bethune of Whitman, Mary L. Allen of Brockton and the late Dorothy A. Levreault and Arthur E. Bethune Jr. Sister of the late Arthur and William Tilt. Also survived by 28 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin St. (Rte.37) Holbrook. Mary died at the age of 87 in the Braemoor Rehab and Nursing Center, Brockton. She was born in Boston grew up in the Roxbury section of Boston and attended Boston Schools. She has made her home in Holbrook for the past 44 years. She was a volunteer for South Shore Elderly Services at Holbrook Court for over 22 years. She was also a member of the Winthrop Congregational Church, Holbrook and the Holbrook Golden Age's.

GENTLES, of Brockton, formerly of Boston, August 6th, Rupert Gentles. Beloved husband of Winsome (Brown). Loving father of Donna Gentles, Andrea Riobe, Sheldon Gentles and Garreth Gentles all of Brockton and Andrew Francis of Taunton. Dear son of Wesley Gentles of Jamaica and the late Victoria Harris. Rupert Gentles was born in Jamaica, West Indies and he died at his home in Brockton on Sunday the 6th of August at the age of 62. He worked as an auto mechanic for Avis car rental at Logan Airport for over 15 years. He has lived in Brockton for the past 10 years and previously he had lived in Boston.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. (Bartoloni) Adelman was born in Boston and died at the Quincy Medical Center in Quincy on Friday the 4th of August, at the age of 76. She has lived in Holbrook for the past 15 years and previously she had resided in Quincy. She worked as a clerk for the Jordan Marsh Company in Boston for over 30 years.

SULLIVAN, of Randolph, formerly of Dorchester, after a long illness, August 4th, Edward T. Sullivan, Jr. Beloved husband of Marcia (Robson). Devoted brother of Margaret MacDonald of TX, Geraldine Daley and John F. Sullivan both of Randolph. Loving step-father of Paul Pomerleau of Brockton, Raymond Pomerleau, Richard Pomerleau, Marciann Ricchio and Karen Pomerleau all of Randolph and Regina Younker of Canada. Godfather of Michelle Kane of Charlestown. Also survived by 15 step grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Sullivan, Jr. was born in Boston and died at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton on Friday the 4th of August after a long illness. He was 65 years old. He worked as a sheet metal worker for General Dynamics for over 25 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Air Force where he earned the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He has lived in Randolph since 1975 and previously had lived in Dorchester.
