BURGESS, of Randolph, life long, April 30th, Catherine E. (Whealan) Burgess. Wife of the late James F. Burgess. Loving mother of Susan Chaves of Raynham, Catherine Grinnell, Sheila Hill, Maureen Campbell, James F. Burgess Jr. and Coleen Burgess all of Randolph. Daughter of the late James P. and Susan (McLaughlin) Whealan. Devoted sister of Mary Burns of GA, Margaret Whealan of Canada and the late Marion Stone, Thomas, James, Eleanor, Francis and William Whealan. Dear grandmother of Katelyn, Ashley, Casey, John Hill III and the late Jaimie Hill, Benjamin, James and Elizabeth Chaves, Shaun, Kevin and Christopher Grinnell, Shane, Lindsey and Emily Campbell. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rte 28) Randolph until 9:15 AM on Friday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Bernadette Church, Randolph. Born in Randolph and a life long resident, she died April 30th, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Boston. She was 62 years old. She was a Secretary for the Randolph Public Schools. She was a graduate of Randolph High School Class of 1956 Member of St. Bernadette Ladies Bowling League for many years.

KOMICH, of Randolph, April 24th, Bertha E. (Kakshtis) Komich. Wife of the late Joseph F. Komich. Loving mother of Bertha J. Sullivan of FL, Ruth Lee of Rockland, John M. Komich of Randolph and the late Joseph G. Komich. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Graveside services were held in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph on Friday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Bertha's memory to the American Diabetes Association, Mass Affiliate Inc., PO Box 968, Framingham, MA 01701. Arrangements under the direction of Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (RT 28) Randolph. Bertha E. (Kakshtis) Komich was born in Boston and died at the Sunbridge of Randolph Nursing Facility on Tuesday, April 24th at the age of 85. Mrs. Komich was a homemaker. She is a lifelong resident of Randolph and a graduate of Stetson High School in Randolph.

Kourafas, of Stoughton formerly of Dedham, April 15th, Mildred (Djerf). Beloved wife of James Kourafas of Stoughton. Loving mother of James R. Kourafas of Stoughton, Amanda Kourafas and her husband Kevin Schneider of Marlboro and the late Erica Bulman Bloomquist. Daughter of the late Mildred Luella (Westhaver) and William Peter Djerf. Devoted sister of William P. Djerf of Walpole and the late Harold Djerf of Westwood. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. SPICER, of Medford, April 16th, Harold J. Spicer. Husband of the late Mary (Bradley) Spicer. Loving father of Richard H. Spicer of Franklin, Janet M. Shone of Franklin, Barbara DiCenzo of Braintree, Robert Spicer of Winthrop and the late Maureen L. Harvey. Brother of the late Hazel Corkum and Howard Spicer. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and several great grandchild. Born in Somerville, he died at Braintree Manor Nursing Home April 16th, at the age of 84. He was a production manager for Goodwill Industry's and retired after 20 years of service He had also worked in the grounds crew for Dana Hall Private Girls School in Wellesley for 3-4 years. Grew up in Medford and graduated from Medford High School. WWII US Army Veteran who participated in the D Day Invasion.

MacCord, of Randolph, April 12th, Carol (Whiting) MacCord. Beloved wife of David D. MacCord. Loving mother of David D. MacCord Jr. of Bridgewater and Linda C. DeLorey of Brockton. Step-daughter of Hazel Whiting of Maine. Dear grandmother of Daniel and Kristen MacCord of Bridgewater and Andrew and Gregory DeLorey of Brockton. Devoted sister of John Russell Jr. of Hanover, Isabel Seymour of Weymouth, William Russell of Sandwich and the late Christine Channel and Ina Hughes. Also survived by 13 grandchildren. She graduated from No. Quincy High School Class of 1942. She was married to Bernard Donaghey for 45 years. They raised five daughters in Squantum. Bernard and Margaret founded Braintree Rug Co. where she had worked until present. She enjoyed cooking, golf, sewing and dancing.

Nydegger of Everett, Washington and Linda J. Helfer of Holbrook. Dear grandfather of Eric Helfer and Heather Helfer. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Retired from Sears Auto Sales and Service after 34 years of service. He graduated from Commerce High School in Boston and US Navy School of Music. He was a jazz musician who played the trombone at weddings and parties around the So. Shore Area. Resident of Holbrook since 1956.

ANDERSON, of Whitman, formerly of So. Weymouth, April 5th, Ruth T. (Johnston) Anderson. Wife of the late Ernest E. Anderson. Loving mother of the late Phyllis Dougenik. Devoted sister of Mildred G. Petecki of Brockton and the late Leona M. Allen. Grandmother of Scott Dougenik of FL. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St.(Rte 28), Randolph. Burial in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Ruth T. Anderson was born in So. Braintree and died at the Life Care Center of West Bridgewater on Thursday April 5th at the age of 90. Ruth worked as a laborer for the Stetson Shoe Company for over 30 years. She has lived in Whitman for the past 40+ years and previously had lived in So. Weymouth.

MARTIN, of Randolph, after a lengthy illness, April 4th, Ernest Carl Martin, Jr. Beloved son of the late Ernest C. and Alice (McCarthy) Martin. Devoted brother of Mildred Salamone of Randolph, Barbara Haney of No. Easton and the late Walter P. Martin. Dear nephew of Margaret Farrow of Canton and Eleanor Trouskie of VA. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St.(Rte 28), Randolph, until 8:15am on Saturday followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00am in St. Bernadette Church, Randolph. Ernest Carl Martin, Jr. was born in Boston and died at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Wednesday April 4th at the age of 77. Ernest was a lifelong resident of Randolph and a graduate of Stetson High School and University of Massachusetts at Amherst where he had studied Horticulture. While in college Mr. Martin was drafted during WWII where he served in the 20th Airborne Division serving in the Pacific. After the war he became a florist working at many flower shops in and around the Boston area for many years. He was a communicant of the Holy Trinity Church in Boston and a member of the Holy Trinity Church K of C Lodge.
